RORY GIBSON
Rory is a Scottish writer and director. He graduated with an MA in Directing Fiction from Goldsmiths University in 2016. His graduation film, ANGST, premiered at the Nashville Film Festival the subsequent year. In 2018 Rory was selected from hundreds of applicants to develop a feature screenplay with Young Films at its inaugural development residency on the Isle of Skye. Rory’s second short, THOSE WHO ARE MOST HAPPY, was selected for numerous UK festivals in 2019 and caught the attention of World Productions with whom Rory developed an original TV series, WONDERLAND, along with the BBC. Rory’s third short, DARK ROAD, was commissioned by the BFI, and was nominated for ‘Best Short Film’ at Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2019. He is currently developing a new original TV series, TROOPS, with Silverprint Pictures.
