Tour dates announced for When the Long Trick’s Over

Morgan Lloyd Malcolm’s new play When the Long Trick’s Over will be touring the East of England during February and March after opening at the New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich.

I’m so scared. And yet… I’m also looking… Just in case I see her… Even though by now there wouldn’t be that much to see…

Two sisters. One dream – and the hardest open-water swim in the world.

A young swimmer focuses her mind and body as she swims the 21 miles between Dover and Calais.

When The Long Trick’s Over, by Olivier Award-winning playwright Morgan Lloyd Malcolm, moves backward and forward in time during the swimmer’s dangerous journey. A journey of grief and joy, oil tankers and jelly babies, lists and 90s pop music. A journey that shows enduring love across distance.
