Suhayla El-Bushra has been nominated for an RTS Yorkshire Award in the Writer category for her work on Channel 4’s ACKLEY BRIDGE. Produced by The Forge, the series follows a fictional multicultural academy in Yorkshire. Suhayla also acted as showrunner on the latest series.

The show is also nominated in the Drama category.
