Sarah Middleton wins Polka Playwriting Award

Huge congratulations to Sarah Middleton, whose play DWEEB-A-MANIA has won the inaugural Polka Playwriting Award! It will run at the Polka’s Adventure Theatre this Autumn. Sarah’s script was selected by a judging panel that included playwright and tiata fahodzi boss Chinonyerem Odimba and children’s laureate Joseph Coelho.

DWEEB-A-MANIA follows Norah and Kemi’s journey to become expert wrestlers after they are snubbed by high-school cool boy Bentley – who declines to invite the pair to his wrestling party.
