Laurence Clark’s PERFECT to be filmed next year for Dave

Laurence Clark’s script was chosen as one of four winners of UKTV and TriForce Creative Network’s WriterSlam competition, which called for ideas written by underrepresented talent which could be made and performed by diverse groups across the UK. The four winners will each have their scripts turned into 30-minute pilots for entertainment channel Dave.

Set in Liverpool, Perfect follows three young disabled people who become unexpected friends when they meet on a half-cocked and pointless work preparation scheme. Together they navigate life, dating, and a system that seems designed to only benefit the people who run it. The series is made by Happy Tramp North and will be exec produced by Neil Webster. Perfect is still a working title and may yet change.
