2 Writers’ Guild Award nominations

We’re delighted that Emma Reeves has been nominated for the Best Children’s TV Episode Writers’ Guild Award for The Beaker Girls! Adapted from Jacqueline Wilson’s books, the series stars Dani Harmer as original children’s TV icon Tracy Beaker; Emma Maggie Davies as her daughter Jess; and Megan Ennis-McLean as Jordan. It followed the record-breaking ratings success of My Mum Tracy Beaker last year on CBBC, iPlayer and BBCOne.

The award is given specifically for episode 1, ‘The Ice Cream Thief’. Best of luck to Emma!
