HOLLY BEASLEY-GARRIGAN
Holly is a Writer, Director, Choreographer and Performer with a passion for anarchic, socially engaged Theatre, Screen and Installation work. A recipient of the Pleasance Futures ‘National Partnerships’ Award (2022) with Bristol Old Vic, Holly recently redeveloped her solo show Opal Fruits; about the fetishisation of working class narratives in the arts. In 2020 she developed I, Object; a site-specific film installation created with residents on the Knowle West council estate in Bristol. Holly co-wrote the Immersive Great Gatsby (2015), the longest-running immersive show in the UK. She still works as Choreographer and Rehearsal Director on the show, overseeing transfers to London West End and internationally to Brussels, South Korea and New York. Previous acclaim includes a Scotsman Fringe First Award & MTN Innovation Award for Fine Chisel’s Dumbstruck (2013); ThreeWeeks Editors' Award for Fine Chisel’s Edinburgh Season (2012); Best Collective Award for The Flanagan Collective’s Adelaide Season (2016); York Culture Awards ‘Best Production’ and Vault Festival ‘Outstanding Contribution’ Awards for The Great Gatsby (2017).
