Tom Gates wins BAFTA Scotland award!

We are delighted that The Brilliant World of Tom Gates, based on the books by Liz Pichon, won the Entertainment award at the BAFTA Scotland awards last night. Liz co-wrote the scripts with Ben Ward, presented, and acted as Executive Producer on the show, and the songs were written by Liz’s husband Mark Flannery with Martin Cooper (Liz herself wrote the lyrics).

The Tom Gates books have sold over 11 million copies around the world, and been translated into 44 languages. The TV show (produced by TG Entertainment) has been renewed for a second series on Sky Kids.
