Alexander McCall Smith’s Isabel Dalhousie Series in Development for TV

Alexander McCall Smith’s internationally popular “The Sunday Philosophy Club” series is being adapted for TV by the award winning writer Andrea Gibb (“Mayflies”, “Miss Austen”) for Synchronicity Films.

All 3 Media are attached to distribute the series which will be executive produced by Claire Mundell and Deanne Cunningham at Synchronicity, Gibb, as well as McCall Smith. Set amongst the cobble stoned streets of Edinburgh, McCall Smith’s Isabel Dalhousie is set to hit small screens in a philosophically driven soft-crime ‘story of the week’ format.
